 1. How do I register at Ste. Louise Outreach for assistance ?

Just come in or send a representative in on your behalf.

 2. Do I need an appointment to register ?   When can I come ?
NO appointment necessary.
BUT we cannot accommodate registrations 1st or last half hour of each day
Registration is: from 10:30 to 12:30 Weekdays / 11-1:30 Saturdays

 3. What do I bring to Register ?
WHAT YOU HAVE, of the following info:
a. ID for all members in your Household
b. Proof of Address (Lease, or current bill)
c. Proof of ALL Income in the Household
d. Proof of Rent
e. Full Bank Statement or up-to-date Bank Book or Money Mart Receipt
(NOT just an account balance) > Needs to be for the entire previous month
f. Case Worker info if necessary
ANY MISSING DOCUMENTATION WILL BE REQUIRED ON 2ND VISIT and all other visits after.  (SOME EXCEPTIONS)

 4. What will I receive on my first visit, when I register ?
AN EMERGENCY ORDER
- Small box of food
- Bread
- Baby food & diapers (If Infants)
- Fresh Vegetables (Seasonal Approx. from July to November)

 5. When can I return aftering Registering and receiving an emergency order ?
Same month, within a week and after an administration check completed.
Then 1 time each calendar month on the day BEST FOR YOU.
NOTE:  IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE EVER 30 days
 6. Do I need an appointment for my monthly visit ?
NO

YES. 
FOUR ORIGINAL Documents FOR EACH ADULT in HOUSEHOLD
a.   Proof of Address
b. Proof of ALL Income in the Household
c. Proof of Rent
d. Full Bank Statement or up-to-date Bank Book or Money Mart Receipt
(NOT just an account balance)  MUST BE ENTIRE PREVIOUS MONTH


 8. How much food can I receive every monthly visit ?
ALWAYS DEPENDENT ON FAMILY SIZE AND AVAILABILITY
Generally:  Infants (0-18 months) 
As baby food is given out in separate small boxes 
NOT included when counting children for # boxes

Baby Limits: 
(Max 2 powder Formula or 12 liquid / Max 4 Cereals / NO Limit on Jars)

DO NOT COUNT  INFANTS 0-18 months) WHEN DETERMINING # OF BOXES
1 18-21yrs  split from family = 1 Box of Food 
1 Adult (& upto 1 child) = 2 Boxes of Food
1 Adult & 2-3 Children = 3 Boxes of Food
1 Adult & 4+ Children = 4 Boxes of Food MAX
2 Adults = 2 Boxes of Food
2 Adults & 1-2 Children = 3 Boxes of Food
2 Adults & 3+ Children = 4 Boxes of Food MAX

4 > MAXIMUM PER HOUSEHOLD (Street Address)
Each box is 40-50 lbs depending on season

 9. What can I receive ?
Food (non perishables), 2-4 boxes plus Drinks, plus Bread, plus Frozen 
Clothes (used & new)
Household Items
Toys (used & new > seasonal)
Furniture
